Salary is paid directly into a Bank or Building Society account of your choice on or about the last day of each month.

Working Hours

Full time working hours are 37.5 hours per week.

Generous Annual Leave

All new employees join DHA on 25 days’ annual leave per year. Entitlement then grows (up to 35 days) linked to length of service. 8 public holidays are also paid. The leave year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Part-time and job share employees receive a pro rata proportion of these holidays according to the hours they work.

Childcare Vouchers

Employees can receive up to £243 childcare vouchers each month via salary sacrifice.

Maternity/Adoption Leave

Enhanced maternity/adoption pay, allowances and leave for people with more than 2 years service.

Staff have access to our free confidential personal support service which can help with a wide range of matters.

Pension Scheme

DHA’s Group Personal Pension Scheme is open to all members of staff to join right from day one. After completion of the probationary period, DHA will match contributions made by the employee up to a maximum of 5% of the basic salary.

Probationary Period

New employees will be required to complete a minimum of 6 months satisfactory service during which time you will be expected to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to undertake your role.
