Getting Involved and Volunteering

The success of any Community Managed Library depends very much on the support of residents, community and voluntary groups and local businesses. This might be by offering a few hours a week to volunteer, supporting the development of new services and activities, bringing your local knowledge to the table at a library steering group, using the library space to run your services and activities or offering sponsorship, funding or in kind support.

A comprehensive package of training and ongoing support is available for all volunteers who want to get involved. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to find out more about the volunteering opportunities, please contact:

Kate Richardson at Community Action Derby on 01332 346266 or email kate.richardson@communityactionderby.org.uk
